In the year 2019, during a time when the world was gripped by a lockdown, Mr. Ray opened the doors to a new vision. He sought to introduce the world to the unparalleled quality of Tussar silk through Priyaansi Handloom. This vision would soon become a thriving reality.

In 2019, amidst a global lockdown, Mr. Ray embarked on a visionary journey to showcase the exceptional quality of Tussar silk through Priyaansi Handloom. With an initial production capacity of 200 to 300 sarees per month, the vision soon transformed into a thriving reality
Prior to founding Priyaansi Handloom, Mr. Mithilesh Ray had a successful career in the export business, specializing in products such as scarves, ladies’ dupattas, and stoles. His experience in this field laid the foundation for his understanding of quality, customer needs, and the art of delivering exquisite handcrafted textiles to a global audience.
